This project aims to explore how simulation-based training impacts nursing students' self-confidence and performance anxiety. Nursing students often use various methods to prepare for clinical skills exams, such as one-on-one tutoring, simulation scenarios with mannequin task trainers, and computerized animations. Despite these efforts, many students still struggle with performance anxiety during assessments and during clinical placements.

To address this, it's crucial to investigate new technologies like virtual reality and haptic gloves as potential alternatives to traditional preparation methods. These innovative tools could help students better manage their anxiety and boost their confidence and competence during clinical skills tests.
